Michael Morgan

Michael "Mike" Morgan, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Mike enjoyed hunting and being in the outdoors. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 89 and was a retired driver for IMI Concrete. Mike was a vivid story teller and never met a stranger. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. Mike will be missed by all who knew him. We are comforted by knowing that he has gone home to be with the Lord along with his Wife, Daughter, and other Family Members.

He was born on October 6, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Josephine (Mitchell) Morgan. He is preceded in death by his Wife of almost 50 years, Brenda Morgan, Daughter, Angie Hite, and Parents.

Mike is survived by his Daughter, Shannon (Chad) Sexton, Sons, David (Missy) Morgan, and Scott (Elena) Morgan, Son-In-Law, Kenny Hite, Grandchildren, Austin (Christina) Sexton, Kendrick Hite, Aaren Sexton (Delanie White), Kinley Hite, Ally Jo Morgan, Katie Morgan, Josie Morgan, Annie Morgan, and Twin Sister, Mary Jo Back.

The family would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to his caregivers throughout the years: Bobbie, Teresa, Carol, and Samantha.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
