Michael "Mike" "Hopi" Lee Mathus, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
Mike loved his family and was always there to help anyone who needed him and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved the outdoors and went fishing any chance he got.
Mike was born on November 19, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to Estel and Catherine (Hardin) Mathus. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Brenda Willinger.
Mike is survived by his loving sisters, Debbie Mathus, Mary Weis, Patsy Porter; brother, Steve Mathus (Pamela); niece, Dawn (Mark) Avery; nephews, Zack Weis Robert Anderson (Samantha).
A private memorial service will be held to honor Mike's memory at a later date.
