Michael Lynn"Mike" Byerley

June 7, 1958 — January 12, 2016

Michael Lynn "Mike" Byerley, 57, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his home in Ramsey, Indiana. He was a long time employee of Colgate Palmolive and after retirement spent his free time on the golf course and playing guitar.

He was born on June 7, 1958 in New Albany, Indiana to Carolyn Byerley Richey and the late Donald Byerley, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Richey.

Along with his mother, Mike is survived by his fiancé, Tonya Lei Davis; daughter, McKenna Rae Byerley; brothers, Donald Byerley, Jr., Gary Richey (Barbie), and A.J. Richey (Amy).

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 10 AM. His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Wood's Chapel Cemetery in Ramsey, Indiana.

Contributions in Mike's memory may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
