Michael Dean "Mike" Long, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Mike worked for Sud-Chemie as a Logistics Supervisor for 38 years and he was a member of the Teamsters Local 89 for 20 years and also a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was born on November 11, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late C.W. and Delores Long.
Mike is survived by his children, Michael Clayton Long, Joshua Michael Long and Caitlin Jo Long; former wife, Cathy Long; five grandchildren; and his brother, Rick Long (Brenda).
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel, (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY 40243), A funeral service to honor the life of Mike will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Mike's memory be made to The Healing Place.
