Michael G. Kessinger

Michael G. Kessinger, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Jewish Hospital. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 13, 1947 to the late Alexander and Ethel Kessinger. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and was retired from Paducah Louisville Railway.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Creal Kessinger.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Joann Kessinger; two daughters, Beverly Kessinger and Becky (Glen) Fulks; grandchildren, Alexander, Britney, Gabrielle, Candice, Lisa and Andrew; great-granddaughter, Autumn; a sister, Hazel Fryer; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272 with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
