Michael John Sacheck

Michael John Sacheck, 47, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday evening, August 6, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was a life-long care giver to many and a recent graduate of Galen College of Nursing. Michael was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church.

He was born on January 3, 1969 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Arthur "Bernie" and Bonnie Sacheck. Along with his parents, Michael is survived by his wife, Brandice (Miller) Sacheck; daughter, Madalyn; parents-in-law, Darlene Carraher, Paul Miller; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM on Friday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Hill Campus, 2605 St. Joe Road West, Sellersburg). Michael will be laid to rest at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Crystal Falls, Michigan.

Contributions in Michael's memory may be made to the Madalyn Longest Education Fund in care of Chase Bank (3317 Grant Line Road, Suite 101, New Albany, IN 47150).
