In Loving Memory of Mike Isenberg
Michael Wayne Isenberg, Sr, 62, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness touched everyone he met.
Mike was a creative, passionate individual who saw the beauty in everything he touched. He was an artist with his food, on canvass, with wood, in sculpting, through poetry, and in his writings, and music. Art was in Mike’s life every day he lived and expressed in every way possible to the people he was around.
Mike is survived by the love of his life of 29 years, Michelle, and a group of the most wonderful people you could want to know. First, his children, Michael Isenberg, Jr, Matthew Isenberg (Bekah), and Marcus Isenberg—he loved them more than his own life. He received the joy of his life this year, his granddaughter, Thea Isenberg. Finally, Mike leaves behind 8 siblings to continue making this world the most fantastic place along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews: Carolyn DeLeo; Judy Storer (Zane); Joyce Vigus (Ron); Dianna Smith (Craig); Doug Isenberg; Kim Vincent; Bryan Isenberg; and Jason Isenberg (Wendy). Mike was preceded in death by his father O’dell Isenberg and his mother, Ilo Isenberg and his brother Rick Isenberg.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 2pm until the time of the services at 4pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
