Michael Murray Hunter, 49, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed working with his hunting dogs.
He was born on February 23, 1971, in New Albany, Indiana, to Mary (Batliner) Hunter and the late Harold Hunter.
Along with his mother, Michael is survived by his brothers, David Hunter (Diana) and Eric Hunter; nieces and nephew, Grace, Ava, and Mason Hunter; aunts and uncles, Joseph and Jean Batliner, Judy and John Jacobi, and James and Jean Batliner.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
