Michael Allen Huff

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Allen Huff on July 17, 2026, at the age of 75.

Mike was born on September 5, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana to Benjamin and Joyce Huff. He grew up in South Bend, Indiana and later moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he would attend Atherton High School and the University of Kentucky. His early career in sales took him to California and then ultimately, he moved back home to Louisville KY. He was proud that later in life he earned his real estate license.

Mike enjoyed live music, warm weather and the beach, he was a green thumb with plants, watching sports of all kinds; especially Notre Dame football. He found the greatest joy in his children and attended all events for his grandchildren from dance to musicals to sports. His greatest legacy is the fun shared with family and friends. He was our biggest cheerleader in life.

He is survived by his children Nicolle Meade (Todd), Matthew Huff and Mitchell Huff (Megan). His three grandchildren Cooper, Reese and Dani. Preceded in death by his father Benjamin, mother Joyce, sister Deborah, niece Nicole and his furry best friend Spike.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 4-8pm at Captain’s Quarters, 5700 Captains Quarters Road, Prospect, Ky. 40059.
