Michael Howser

January 20, 1971 — March 26, 2019

Michael Howser, 48, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Michael was a member of Westport Road Baptist Church. He served in the US Army during Desert Shield in Intelligence. Michael loved all things computer related, Star Wars, and The Indianapolis Colts. He was a connoisseur of some of the finer things in life, he also loved to travel with his wife and adored his grandchildren.

He was born on January 20, 1971 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Melvin and Sandra Howser. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ewell and Virginia Howser, Leo and Katherine Dennison; and nephews, Steven, Timothy, and Justin Howser.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Lisa Howser; parents Melvin and Sandra Howser; two daughters, Stephanie Sturgeon (Matt) and Staci Omanson (Zach); grandchildren, Benjamin Sturgeon, Caitlyn Omanson, Dylan Sturgeon, Taylor Omanson, Abigail Omanson and Carter Omanson; two brothers, Kenneth Howser (Michele) and Jim Howser (Miriam); and the Markward family.

Visitation will be from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Westport Road Baptist Church, (9705 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40241), with a service to honor the life of Michael to follow at 12 pm at church.

The family requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to WRBC for the WinShape Scholarships.
