Michael Jerome Hill

Michael Jerome Hill, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Michael enjoyed working on projects in and around the house. He loved doing artwork and his drawing and portraits. He was a Brick Mason by trade. He graduated from Douglas High School, Oklahoma City, OK in 1973 after Graduation he proudly served in the United States Army. Michael was a loving and devoted family man, who loved talking on the phone to his family and friends, and especially his Aunt Geri a few a times a day. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on May 24, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York to Theron Hill and Florine (Harden) Newkirk. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Siblings, Karen Newkirk-Crowder, Paul Newkirk, and Pipina Figaro-Smith.

Michael is survived by his Daughter, Tamara Hill, Sons, Kyle (Koreen) Hill, and Bryan Hill, Grandchildren, Demaria Walters, Jerrod Williams, Jr., and Bryan Hill, Jr., Brother, Curtis Hill, Sisters, Pam McCauley-Michael, and Princess Hill. Michael also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

A Celebration and Gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel in Downtown Louisville (500 South 4th St, Louisville, KY 40202)
