Michael William Haynes

Michael William Haynes, 38, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 3, 2019, surrounded by his family and friends. After a long battle with numerous illnesses, he finally gained his wings. Michael loved antiques, gardening, and spending time with his family.

He was born on April 9, 1981, in New Albany, Indiana, to William and Catherine "Penny" (Shea) Haynes. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Sheila Mae Bartle; and great-grandmother-in-law, Dottie Mabuary.

Along with his parents, Michael is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Haynes; sons, Hunter and Nolan Haynes; sister, Katrina (Jeffrey) Carter; father-in-law, Bruce Bartle; grandmother-in-law, Rita M. Bartle; grandfather-in-law, William Bartle; and sisters-in-law, Kristen (John) Hartman and Jessica Bartle Brishaber.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Visitation will continue Friday morning after 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
