Michael Anthony Hall, affectionately known as Tony, passed away in the arms of his wife on April 10, 2026. He was born on December 26, 1968, in New Albany, Indiana.
A devoted husband to his loving wife, Kimberly Hall, Tony’s heart was full of joy when surrounded by those he cherished most. He was a proud father to Allison (Steven) Woolley, Rebecca (Dennis) Woolley, and Sean Woolley, and Pappaw to Jorden, Lukas, Madison, Hannah, Isabella, Astraya, and Jericho. His family was the core of his life, providing him with endless happiness and purpose. He is also survived by his siblings, Geri Lyle, Margie (John) Plummer, Dora (Steve) Bir, Mary (Joe) Mayfield, and Chris Hall.
Tony's love for the outdoors was evident in his countless hours spent fishing with his buddy, Michael Schuppert, and golfing with his nephew, Craig. Equally beloved were his dogs, Bruiser and Brandi, whose companionship brought him great comfort and joy. Family gatherings and events with his grandchildren also held a special place in Tony’s heart, as did his newest passion for developing Bacon Barn and his lake home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hall and Joan Bowe Hall; along with his sisters, Jean Hall and Donna Hall; and his brother, Robert “Sonny” Hall, Jr.
Tony will be deeply missed, but his selfless spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home with cremation to follow in accordance with Tony's wishes.
