Michael Tyler Greene

March 14, 1989 — February 25, 2017

Michael Tyler Greene, 27, died on Friday, February 25, 2017 at his home in Georgetown, IN. Michael was a deeply sincere and genuine person. He enjoyed landscaping, gardening, and electrical work. Michael put his heart in to making things look beautiful. No matter what the activity; building bonfires, working on cars, camping, riding dirt bikes, or just digging in the dirt, Michael loved being outside. He especially enjoyed doing carpentry work with his Dad and liked fishing with his uncle, Terry, and his friends Dexter, Sidney and Leim. Michael adored his girlfriend, Kathaleen Bley. He had a big heart and truly treated everyone with kindness. Michael will forever be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving parents, Rose and Mickey Greene; his devoted sister, Christina Greene; his adoring grandmother, Emogene Greene; the love of his life, Kathaleen Bley; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marilyn and Roger Ott; and his grandfather, Oscar Greene.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). A Memorial Mass will be at 10 AM on Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (415 E. 8th St, New Albany, IN).
