Michael Howard Farris

Michael Howard Farris, 74, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on January 2, 2018. He was a retired member of the Iron Horsemen MC. Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Army and an avid fisherman. Mike was known as the shepherd of his family, always bringing everyone together.

Mike was born on July 27, 1943, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Russell Farris, Sr., and Edna (Fitzpatrick) Farris.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Sarah Keinonen (David Carey); son, Russell Farris (Mariana); and siblings, Russell, Jr., Richard, Stephen, Ronnie and Laura Farris.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Memorial Ceremony will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Mike's wishes.
