Michael Eugene Geary, 53, a devoted family man, of Laconia, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Elizabeth, Indiana. Mike was an avid John Deere Collector and also enjoyed classic cars.
He was born on December 4, 1961 in Louisville to James Geary and the late Lucille (Owen) Geary. Mike was also preceded in death by his step-sister, Venita Schmitt.
Along with his father, Mike is survived by his wife, Sandra (Dix) Geary; children, Michael A. Geary (Jamie), Beth Ann Scott (Greg); siblings, James Geary, Margaret Knox (Randy), Shelia Mitchell (Dwayne), Ruby Geary; step-mother, Thelma Geary; step-daughter, April Ernst (Matt); step-siblings, Jody Vannatta (Robert), Susan Baker (Benny), Linda Showalter (Shawn); and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 PM to 6 PM Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Tuesday at 3 PM at Friendship Cemetery in Ramer, Tennessee.
