Michael D. Anson, Sr.

Michael D. "Big Mike" Anson, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015. He was co-founder of Anson Machine and Manufacturing and a National Guard Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Thomas Anson; parents, George Edward and Rebecca Payne Anson.

Michael is survived by his loving children, Mimi Anson Kramer, Mike Anson II (Shannon), Will Anson (Christy) and Jason Anson; grandchildren, Trey Kramer, Trevor Drury, Callie Anson and Zachary Anson; brothers, George Edward Anson, Jr. (Mozelle) and John Anson (Pamela); niece, Stephanie Anson; nephew, Trey Anson; and a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of Big Mike's life will be 5-7pm Monday, January 4, 2016 at Rumor's Restaurant, 12339 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243.
