Mervin Oscar Osborne, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. Oscar enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was proud member of the Cherokee Nation. Oscar served in the United States Marine Corps era of the Vietnam War. He loved his family and his pet dogs. Oscar will be missed by all who knew him.
He was born on July 9, 1952 in Trimble County, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Nellie Voltz, Son-In-law, Scott May, Sr., Brother, Johnny Ray Tindall, and Sister, Shirley Shepherd.
Oscar is survived by his Son, Luke Osborne, Daughters, Jennifere (Eric) Compton, and Dawn May, Step-Sons, David (Dana) Smith, Chip (Tammy) Smith, Friends, Annette Waldridge, and Gwen Smith, Sister, Kathy (Kenneth) Husband. Oscar also leaves behind to cherish his memory 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 pm on December 30, 2020 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, Kentucky (2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY).
The family requests that contributions in Oscar memory be made to Veterans Adminstration.
