Melvina Pearl Humphrey, 87, passed away on April 14, 2015. She enjoyed horse racing, playing golf and socializing with her family and friends. Her strength and free spirit will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Humphrey; son, Mitchell Humphrey and brother, Leo Eiler.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Humphrey, sons, Frank Brangers and Michael Humphrey; grandchildren, Holly, Walter and John; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 16, 2015, from 4pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Melvina's life will be Friday, April 17, 2015, at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 11am with burial to follow at Garnettsville Cemetery, Hwy 1638, Brandenburg, KY.
