Melvin Hale, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
Melvin was born on June 1, 1937 to Charles and Lucille Hale. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Mildred Hale, Daughter, Janice McCord, Brothers, Shelby Hale, and Johnny Hale, Sisters, Del Burcham, and Liz Hale, Son-In-law, Les Charles, granddaughter, April Talkington, and great-grandson, Bubby Fambrough.
Melvin is survived by his Sons, Edward (Liz) Elmore, and Allen Elmore, Daughters, Pat Charles, Anita Colemore, Eula (James) Day, and Lela (Leon) Eisenback, Brothers, Bill Hale, and Eddie Hale, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A gathering for Melvin's family and friends will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
