Melissa "Missi" Renea (Grider) Cox, 43, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017. She was a member of the Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana and worked as a hairdresser for many years. Missi enjoyed golfing, going to the beach, camping, and was a certified scuba diver.
She was born on February 20, 1973 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Ronald Grider and Elizabeth (Eve) Hochadel. Missi was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Dean "Marty" Grider. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband , Troy Cox; her loving daughters, Adrea Day (Ryan)and Lakin Gream; brother, Mark Grider (Melinda); sister-in-law, Lisa Grider along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 6 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her Funeral Service to follow at 6 PM.
