She was born on May 1, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Carol Spencer, and Friend, John Hall.

Melissa is survived by her loving family, Children, Jessica Renee' Grant and Cody Ray Grant; Grandchildren, Brayden Grant, Raylynn Miller, and Kamryn Poll; Aunt, Constance (Rodger) Fletcher.
