Megan Reeney Masterson, 30, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, as a result of Brain Stem Atrophy. She loved Christmas and enjoyed gardening, drawing, and living life to its fullest.
She was born on June 10, 1986, in Louisville, Kentucky. Megan is survived by her parents, René (LaChance) Masterson and Corey Masterson; brother, Paul A. Young; sister, Amanda N. Lucia; grandparents, Delbert and Sheryl Masterson, and Hope LaChance; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Megan enjoyed the time she spent living at Hawthorne Group Home. The family asks that contributions in her memory be made to the Hawthorne Group Home (403 Hawthorne Drive, Goshen, Indiana 46526).
