Mearlene Soloe, age 72 of Louisville, passed away Friday, September 11, 2009 at Norton Audubon Hospital. A native of Harlan County, Kentucky, Ms. Soloe was preceded in death by her parents, Steve Soloe and Callie Hensley.
She is survived by five brothers, two sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Ms. Soloe's life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 p.m. and Monday 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences at www.Newcomerlouisville.com.
