McKenna Elizabeth Middleton

McKenna Elizabeth Middleton, age 33, born May 29th 1991 in Berwick, PA, passed away due to a drug overdose on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 in Louisville, KY following a decades long struggle with addiction as well as a lifetime of mental health challenges. McKenna never lost her desire to be clean and sober.  She is the beloved daughter of Dr. Robert and AliceAnn Piazzi Middleton.  McKenna was a 2010 graduate of Assumption High School and attended Spalding University.  Preceding her in death are both her maternal and paternal grandparents as well as an uncle.

In addition to her parents, McKenna is survived by her daughter, Madison Grace; and her legal custodian, Rea Berry; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, great cousins and friends. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 24th at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd., Louisville, KY 40222 . Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Cremation was chosen and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
