Maysel Marie (Zink) Dresselhaus, 95, of New Albany, Indiana, formerly of Escondido, California, passed away on Thursday evening, November 29, 2018. She enjoyed many things in life, including traveling, storytelling, dancing, and singing. Maysel also loved to attend church and was a long-time resident at Lincoln Hills Health Center.
She was born on June 11, 1923, in Washington County, Indiana, to the late George and Florence (McCellan) Zink. Maysel was also preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie Ponder and Robert Dresselhaus; sister, Pauline Crone; brother, Marvin Zink; and granddaughter, Lynette Bolinger.
Maysel is survived by her daughter, Linda Wolfe (Paul); granddaughter, Robin Stimac (Bill); great-granddaughter, Kristen Bolinger; stepchildren, Lori Dickinson (Randy), Sue Robota (Heinz), Jane Burns (Randy), Barbara Takahashi (John), and Andrea Ramirez (David); siblings, Louise Byerley, Carol Martin (Terry), and Dennis Zink (Laura); 20 step-grandchildren; 7 great-step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen, and a celebration of Maysel's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Lincoln Hills Health Center. A private burial will take place at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, Indiana.
