Maylon "Tony" Collier

April 14, 1939 — April 2, 2022

Maylon "Tony" Collier, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 2, 2022. He was born to Wilburn & Cora Collier on April 14, 1939 and was raised alongside twelve siblings. He later met the love of his life, Marilyn Collier, and together they raised two children.

Tony worked at the Ford Motor Company for 31 years, performing maintenance. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn & Cora Collier; his wonderful wife of 62 years, Marilyn Collier; his son, Terry Ray Collier, and his twin brother, Maryland "Shorty" Collier.

Tony leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Ricky (Mary) Collier; grandchildren, Katie (Jake) Fuqua, Cory (Samantha Swoffer) Collier, Matthew Collier; great-grandchildren, Cole Peterson and Cody Collier, as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will all miss him very much.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with services to follow beginning at 6:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Watterson Trail Church of Christ (9607 Watterson Trail, Jeffersontown, KY 40299).
