Maurine (McArthur) Crossett, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was a member of Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church.

She was born on September 8, 1927, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Daniel and Hattie (Cox) McArthur. In addition to her parents, Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Crossett; and siblings, Daniel, Afton, Art, and Marden McArthur.

Maurine is survived by her children, Richard Crossett (Sharon), Virginia Crossett (Mark Thompson), Jonathan Crossett (Pascale de Rozario), and Clay Crossett (Diane); and eight grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen following Maurine's wishes, and she will be laid to rest privately at New Albany National Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Kentucky Opera (708 Magazine Street, Louisville, KY 40203) or to the Louisville Zoo (1100 Trevilian Way, Louisville, KY 40213).

The family would like to thank the staff at the Episcopal Church Home for the love and care they provided to Maurine over the last few years.
