Maurice "Buddy" Swope, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019.
He was born on November 4, 1953 in Staton, Tennessee to Sammie and Mattie (Harwell ) Swope . He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mattie B. Swope -Magee, and Grandmother, Stella M. Faine.
Maurice is survived by his loving Wife, Mary Campbell-Swope, Children, Celenda Young, 3 Step Children, his Father, Brothers, Marvin and Mark Swope, Sisters, Mavis Ross, Marilyn Swope, Mattie Swope, and Ann Billings, Grandchildren, Tyree and Kennedi, Raven, Joshua, and McKenzie.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church, (3315 Dixie Hwy ). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, at Antioch Baptist Church with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery.
