Matthew was born on August 11, 1976 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Grace Rogers. Matthew is preceded in death by his Uncle, James Self.
Matthew is survived by his Parents William and Grace Rogers, Brother, John D. Rogers, Nephews, Nicholas Rogers and Daniel Kappesser, Aunts, Barbara Fry, and Rose Pettit (Dick), Uncles, Dawson Self (Sheila), and Butch Self (Mary).
Funeral services will be private. Matthew will be buried at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Matthew's memory be made to Atwood Wesleyan Church.
