Matthew Stevens, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born on January 26, 1969 in Louisville to Larry and Joan Stevens. Matt graduated from Iroquois High School. He was an employee of PNC Bank for nearly 30 years. He was an avid U of L fan. He loved music and listened to it every day. He was always happy and positive and he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Stevens.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Casey Stevens; his mother, Joan Stevens; children, David (Nikki) Stevens and Jacob (Candace) Stevens; a step-son, Austin (Kayla) McDowell; grandchildren, Kevin, Chloe, Kaleb, Caylyn, Aubrey and Rhett; and a host of extended family members and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.

A service to celebrate his life will take place at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). The family will accept guests for visiting prior to the service from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Matt's family to help offset final expenses.
