Marylyn Whittenburg, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Marylyn enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She was loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. Marylyn was the "Life of the Party" and was always there to have a good time, and make those around her have a good time. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She was born on November 10, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles and Mary (Robertson) Whittenburg. She is preceded in death by her Sister, Karen Martin, and Brother, Tyrone Whittenburg Sr.

Marylyn is survived her 10 loving Children, Valencia Whittenburg, Rashad Hobbs, Tina Whittenburg, Everett Whittenburg, Julia Whittenburg, Aleasha Hobbs, Christopher Hobbs, LaToya Strange, Wendella Hobbs, and Kelly Hobbs, Siblings, Michele Childress, Jennifer Whittenburg, Cleo Sutton, Charles Whittenburg III, Lawrence Whittenburg, Stacey Whittenburg, Nathan Whittenburg and Courtney Whittenburg. Marylyn also leaves behind to cherish her memory 40 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and a host of, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family

Marylyn was originally from the Chicago area and she will be laid to rest there.

A Celebration of Marylyn's Life will be held at the Grandball Room (6351 S. Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago, IL 60637) on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

The theme of Celebration will be Blue & White and everyone is encourage to dress accordingly.
