Mary Darlene Vaughn

Mary Darlene Vaughn, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 14, 2016. She retired from Baptist East Hospital after 30 years of service.
She was born on March 3, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Albert and Dorothy (Sondergeld) Yunt. She was also preceded in death by her brother Al Yunt.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, William Vaughn, daughters, Pam (Roger) Distler, Sherri Crosson and Amy Taylor, grandchildren Emily, Leigh Anne, James, Hilary, Julia, Justin and Maddie, six great-grandchildren, sister Nancy (Pete) Hoskinson, brother Gilbert Jerome Yunt. She is also survived by four step-daughters, Cindy, Jeannine, Lisa, Angie and thankful friends Kenny and Pat.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243).
The family would like to extend a gracious appreciation to the ICU nurses and staff at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Christian Church Blankenbaker Campus.
