Mary Sue Harrison

Mary Sue Harrison, age 76, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016. Sue was a member of Southeast Christian Church and taught First Grade at Blue Lick Elementary School for 26 years of the 30 she dedicated to teaching. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Oliver and Ellen Latham Brown; her sister, Faye Rich; and brother-in-law, Bill Rich.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gary; their daughter, Traci Walls (Todd); grandchildren, Hunter and Ashley; sister, Roxie Amonett (Gene); close niece and nephews, Dianna Matheny (Ronnie), Jeff Amonett (Paula), Trent Amonett (Maria) and Jason Marshall (Jill); and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 2-8pm on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral ceremony will be 11am Saturday, June 4th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Southeast Christian Church Mission Fund.
