It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Christine Steinwedel, age 76, on July 3, 2026, in Sellersburg, Indiana. Raised in Southern Indiana, Christine lived a life centered on faith, family, and caring for others.

She worked as a beautician and later alongside her husband, Bill, in his dental practice. Of all her accomplishments, her greatest joy was being a mother to her three daughters.
Christine enjoyed landscaping, sewing, exploring creeks, spending time in the outdoors, and taking walks with family and friends. A faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany, her faith provided comfort, purpose, and community throughout her life.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Margaret Schindler; her father- and mother-in-law, William and Bebe Steinwedel; her brothers, Richard and Joe Schindler; and her sisters, Carolyn Ernstberger and Dottie Lampe.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William T.
