Mary Ann Speaker passed away on March 11, 2022 at Norton Suburban Hospital. She was born on July 6, 1942 to the late William and Margaret (Green) Speaker. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Cullop, her sisters, Eva Jane Munz, Carol Kielkolpf, Dorothy Wooldridge, brother, William Speaker, and uncle, George Green.
Mary Ann is survived by her three children, Brenda (Chris) McCullum, Margie (John) Parson, and William (Sharon) Cullop, grandchildren, Nathan (Summer) Lamphier, Kayla Lamphier, Jacob McCullum, Adam McCullum, Michael Cullop, Sarah Cullop, Sister, Darlene Miller, cousin, Ed Green, great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary Ann was a juror Quilter for Tamarack (in West Virginia). She was president for the Women's Quilt Club in Beckley, WV, and taught others to quilt. She won ribbons at quilt shows. She loved to sew and cross stitch. She was an avid painter and sketcher. Mary Ann was funny and was not intimidated to learn something new. She loved her family very much.
