Mary Madeline (Williams) Spalding, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She retired from M. Fine & Sons and was a member of Parkway Southern Baptist Church in New Albany.
She was born on September 4, 1926, in Leavenworth, Indiana, to the late George and Nancy Williams. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, James Spalding, Sr.; sons, Richard and Larry Wayne Spalding; and daughters-in-law, Georgetta and Connie Spalding.
Mary is survived by her sons, James Spalding, Jr., Carl Spalding (Linda), David Spalding (Carol), and Johnny Spalding (Joyce); 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 11:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
