Mary Elizabeth Sterner Smith

Mary Elizabeth Sterner Smith, age 71, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. Mary was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She was a member of Kingdom Christian Church in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas Smith; daughter, Angela Borders; her parents, Edward Daniel and Betty Florence Dennison Sterner; and brothers, Edward Daniel Sterner, III. and John Anthony Sterner.

Mary is survived by her son Eric; grandson, Shaun; siblings, Joe Sterner and Sandy Passafume (Tony); granddaughters, Lisa Smith, Robbienai Smith; great-grandson, Victor M. Porter, Jr.; great-granddaughters, Lar'risha Smith and Tavay Smith; aunts, Reatha Fuller, Margaret Morehead; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-4pm on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with a celebration of Mary's life at 4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Burial will be at a later date in Lebanon National Cemetery.
