Mary Rowe Schneider , 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019.
She was born on March 31, 1940 in Feds Creek , Kentucky. Mary attended the Kentucky School for the Deaf. She was a member of the Louisville Association for the Deaf , served as the chairwoman of the Louisville Deaf Seniors, and was active member of the deaf community. She worked for over 20 years at the Robley Rex VA Hospital. Mary enjoyed gardening, BINGO, cheering on UofL, and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her Daughter, Julie Schneider Powell, Son, Michael (Gina) Schneider, Daughter, Gina Schneider, Brothers, Edward and Vernon Harvey, Grandchildren, Terra Powell, Amanda Banet,(Matthew) Brittany Powell, Anthony Schneider, Noah (Stephanie) Wilson, Hunter (Kayleigh) McQuillan, Candace Lancaster, and Jessica, Cody, and Abby Tate. Great Grandchildren, Matalynn, Cody, Isabella, Evelyn, Langston, Maverick, Grayson, Jace, and Stuart.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). A Funeral Service will take place at 6:00 pm that evening at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to Kentucky School for the Deaf.
