Mary Ann Pittman, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Mary enjoyed writing and wrote several short stories. She loved visiting and being with family and friends, and going to Mike Linning's for Dinner. Mary Ann was a very patriotic and proud of all the family who had served in the United States Armed Forces. She wrote a Newspaper Article about Victory Park for the Courier Journal. Mary Ann will be missed by all who knew her.
She was born on September 2, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frederick and Mary (Bell) Vittitow. She is preceded in death by her Son, Jon Pittman, Parents, and Brother, Earl Vittitow.
Mary Ann is survived by her Sons, Gary (Faith) Hopper, Craig (Robin) Pittman, Grandchildren, Sean, Daniel , and Andrew, Sister, Shirley (George) Nichols. Mary Ann also leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Friends and Extended Family.
Visitation and Gathering will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family requests that in Lieu of Flowers in Mary Ann's memory be made to St Vincent DePaul Society.
