Mary Elizabeth Perkins

Mary Perkins, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Mary was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved playing BINGO, loved cooking for everyone would even make for her neighbors. She gave everything she ever had to anyone that needed it. She loved her angel figurines and also loved animals. She was always close with her brothers and sisters and loved spending time with them. Mary will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on July 4, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Lorene (Patterson) Mahoney. She is preceded in death by her Father, James T. Mahoney, Mother, Lorene Mahoney, Husband, Patrick Rankin, Granddaughter, Adrianna Woodring, Great-Granddaughter, Trinity Fultz, Siblings, Dallas Mahoney, Patricia Rankin, Vivian Danberry, Richard Mahoney.

Mary is survived by her loving family, Daughter, Angela L. (Robert) Woodring, Son, Michael L. (Haydee) Rankin, Grandchildren, Whitney Rainwater, Christina Carlson, Heather Woodring, Brandon Woodring, Destiny Woodring, Haylee Spaulding, William Woodring, Ronald Acuff, Hannah Rankin, Trista Rankin, Siblings, James Mahoney and Diana Mahoney, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

The family will plan a celebration of life for a later date.
