Mary Lou Patrick, 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Mary was a hard worker her entire life. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds but her greatest love of all was her children and spending time with her family.
She was born on February 8, 1936, in Leavenworth, Indiana, to the late Roscoe and Mamie (Bye) Saltsgaver. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Patrick; and siblings, Norma Draper, Eugene Saltsgaver, Ruth Barrentine, and Earl Ray Saltsgaver.
Mary is survived by her children, Diana Garrett, Ginny (Terry) Wagoner, Steve (Kim) Shrout, and Marvin (Paula) Shrout; siblings, Paul Saltsgaver, Don Saltsgaver, Alma "Sissy" Medley, Rheva Roggenkamp, and Alice Lutz; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Mary's wishes, and a private family service will be held.
