Mary Rose Oldham

Mary Rose Oldham, 78 years old. She was called home to Jesus, her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2021 after an illness.

Mary Rose was born on September 19, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mary Elizabeth and James Oldham. She was a true believing Christian and devoted member of Foster Ave. Baptist Church.

Mary Rose was preceded in death by her parents; Mary Elizabeth and James Oldham, and her grandmother, Alma "Granny" Land.

Left to mourn her passing are an only son, James Anthony; three daughters, Lori Ann, Cheryl Lynn, and Elizabeth Anne. Also left to mourn her passing are her daughter in-law Veronica, beloved granddaughter Iman, beloved grandson Jeffrey, her great grandsons Amauryie and Azaryiie, her beloved only sister Nancy, her beloved brother, Bruce and sister in-law Bonita. Her very dear friend Tasha Rudolph, and her very special dear friend Beverly Shofner. She also leaves to mourn three nieces Jennifer, Cristina and Kelly, two nephews Gary and Bruce Jr., several cousins and a very close Christian church family and the Reverend Danny Payne.

Mary Rose had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and spend quality time with family. She will be missed.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
