Mary Joan O'Bryan , 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
She was born on March 19, 1929 in New Hope, Kentucky to Webb and Alice Dant Bowling. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Michael Estil "Boot" O'Bryan; her parents; her grandson, Michael Brent Hambleton; and siblings, Bob, Lottie, Celie, Corky, and Jerry.
She is survived by her six children, RADM. USN(Ret) Michael Stewart O'Bryan (Stacia), Joan Elaine Hambleton (Bill), Alice Karen Mason (Terry), Gregory Bowling O'Bryan, Alan Estil O'Bryan (Peggy), Diane Marie Ryan (Tony); eight grandchildren, Nicole Hambleton Bauer, Ashley Lyon, Justin O'Bryan, Blake O'Bryan, Brittney Army, Taylor Ryan, Michael Ryan, and Brooke Ryan; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frankie Mouser and Allie Kirkpatrick; brothers, Wally Bowling and Pat Bowling (Jean).
Visitation and Funeral Service will be announced at a later time.
The family requests that contributions in lieu of flowers be made to the charity of your choosing.
