Mary Mitchell, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020. Mary was a member of New Horizon Full Gospel Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time with her Grandchildren. Mary would always dress fancy when going out or attending Church. She loved horses and the color blue.
She was born on September 21, 1924 in Prattville, Alabama to Willie Battie and Fannie Wytt Battie. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Alphonzo, Mitchell, Parents, Sons, Willie Mitchell, Nathanial Mitchell, Brady Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, and Danny Mitchell, Daughter, Roselee Mitchell, and Brother, Julius Battie.
Mary is survived by her loving Son, Greg (Maurethia) Mitchell. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 22 Grandchildren, 48 Great-Grandchildren, 21 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.
Cremation has been chosen by her loving son, Gregory Mitchell. Her family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
