Mary "Louise" (Brown) McGhee, 83, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020. She had worked as an office manager for Tittles Groceries in northern Indiana. Louise played piano for many years at her church, was an avid reader and animal lover, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was born on January 1, 1937, in Plainville, Indiana, to the late Cletus and Mary Brown. Louise was also preceded in death by her husbands, Richard McGhee and Arthur Terry Parker; and siblings, Sharon Croell and Bob Brown.
Louise is survived by her son, David Parker (Deborah); stepchildren, Richard McGhee (Beth), Douglas McGhee (Donna), Thomas McGhee, and Kathryn Egolf; siblings, Charles Brown (Ethel) and Barbara Langendorfer; grandchildren, Jennifer Stewart, Sean Parker, Kellyn Kelley, Alysse Parker, Joel Parker, Justin McGhee, Jason McGhee, Eric McGhee, and Trevor Egolf; and ten great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Louise's wishes, and she will be laid to rest privately at Calvary Cemetery in Portage, Indiana.
