Mary JoAnn Mattingly, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. JoAnn was a loving wife, mom, meme, sister, and friend to all. She loved being with family and sharing with everyone. Her favorite hobby was playing BINGO. She will truly be missed and loved by all.
She was born on November 2, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Evelynn (Russell) Corbett. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Corbett, mother, Evelynn Corbett, husband, David Andrew Mattingly, son, Michael "Dino" Mattingly, grandchildren, Jeremy Ross Mattingly and Katelyn Lauren Mattingly, and great-granddaughter, Alessa Larayne Brenzel.
JoAnn is survived by her loving family, children, Angela Michalle (Michael) Grace, John Gary (Jenny) Mattingly, Joseph Timothy (Pamela) Mattingly, and David Keith (Paula) Mattingly; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
The family has requested that all services are going to be private.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers all contributions in JoAnn's memory be made to Jeremy Mattingly Foundation "Treasuring Dreams" 856 Linwood Ave. Louisville, KY 40217.
