Mary Lou (Rose) Hobson, 82, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, in New Albany, Indiana.
Mary was born on June 25, 1933, in Hazard, Kentucky, to William and Sarah(Carol) Rose. She worked in accounting and bookkeeping at Tarr Lumber Company for many years and was a member at Blue River Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee Hobson; and brother, Charles Rose. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda McQueen (Garry); brother, Clarence Rose (Sonya); and granddaughter, TiaShawna McQueen.
There will be a Memorial Service held on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Blue River Baptist Church (5624 East Farabee Road, Salem, Indiana 47167).
