Mary "Aline" (O'Daniel) Lanham

Mary "Aline" (O'Daniel) Lanham, 82, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. Aline was a member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church (St. John Paul II) in Sellersburg and the Moose Lodge of Sellersburg. She enjoyed raising a family and caring for her 4 children and her late husband. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and boating and shopping was always a favorite pastime.

Aline was born on August 3, 1937, in Loretto, Kentucky, to the late F. Earl and A. Lucille (Hamilton) O'Daniel. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Henry Lanham; son, Phillip Lanham; siblings, Edith, Patsy, Eddie, and Tony.

Aline is survived by her children, Vickie (Rick Hall) Lanham, Steve (Tina Hoffmeister) Lanham, and Wayne (Becky) Lanham; grandchildren, Treves Lanham, Steven Lanham, Crysty (Carl) Nurse, Kevin (Justina) Basham, Michael Lanham, Josh Lanham, Amanda (Brian Rios) Lanham, and Mallory Lanham; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Sophia, Isabella, Jack, Kaydence, Lillian, Hudson, Charlie, Xavier, and Westen; siblings, Jennie, Allen, Jerry, Linda, Frannie, Sharon, and Roberta; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow in Miller Cemetery in Borden.
