Mary Jean (Webb) Lamb, 70, a woman with deep and unwavering faith, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025. She was a longtime member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany.

She was born on September 14, 1954 in New Albany to Arthur and Hazel (Isgrigg) Webb. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David Ricketts, Sr.; son, David Ricketts, Jr.; sister, Violet Simon; and brothers, Bill and Bob Webb.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Shannon Layman (Vella), Lynette Griffitts (Darren), Karen Crabtree (Michael); sister, Barbara Cocke; brother, Tim Webb; sister-in-law, Jean Webb; and grandchildren, Felicity Lamb, Abbagale Parson, Emma Ricketts, Nevaeh "Hope" Ricketts, McKenzie Seay, Payton Seay, and Constance Crabtree.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a funeral service in her honor taking place at 1:00 p.m.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Northside Christian Church (4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150).
